| Pasture Raised Poultry White Oak Ridge Farm grows pasture raised chickens and turkeys. We believe that this is they were meant to me raised. Chickens and turkeys were not meant to be raised without sun shine overhead and fresh grass under foot. Most poultry (commercial) are raised in a confinement building and never see the outside except when they first arrive and leave for processing. We DO NOT feed any growth hormones or any other unnatural supplements to our poultry. We believe that you have trusted us to raise the food for your family so we treat it as if it was for our family. We raise them the way the good lord intended them to be. Our poultry are started in brooders and are moved to runs after approximately two weeks. Then after 2 more weeks they are moved to our pasture for finishing. We have two field protection systems for our poultry. Movable net field pens and portable pens that are moved to fresh grass every day. They are provided feed and fresh water daily. Our poultry are available at our processing plant or at local retail locations. We accept custom orders and volume orders. |
